My new obsession!!!

So... I've been hearing and reading all these things about this "Twilight" series... I read an article in Entertainment Weekly about it and was interested right away. Usually when I get interested in something I try to find a friend of mine that has bought, used, read or listened to whatever is that has caught my interest. I found that a friend of mine had read the first 3 books in the series (Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse) because she had said on her Facebook status that she was rereading them before the 4th one came out (Breaking Dawn). She said she would lend them to me and that started this reading marathon I've been on since last Thursday. The story is centered around two main characters named Edward and Bella. The only thing I'll say here is that one is a vampire, one is not, and they are in love. I'm telling you, if you like to read at all you will love this series. Although it is meant for the younger set (think Young Adult section at the book store) it is absolutely captivating. I included a link to the author's site, www.stepheniemeyer.com... Check it out! One of the last things I have to say, and if you know me this won't come as quite a shock, is: I started Twilight on Thursday (last week) and I'm just about 1/3 of the way through Eclipse (book #3) ha! If you get a chance to check out the site or maybe read one of these books, let me know!

New to all of this...

So, I'm trying to figure out all of this cool blog stuff... putting ads up that fit your subject matter and target readers, links and pictures and search engines... SO MUCH STUFF! I'm trying to get to the stuff that will make a difference to the people that will actually read this and care about where you can go from here. Any ideas? I'm thinking about adding links to my Facebook page and stuff like that. I thought it would be cool. I might make it that you have to be my friend to see anymore than my profile page. I'm not sure how to do all of that yet though. I'm going to figure it out and it's going to be cool.

It is what it is.

When I graduated high school I do NOT think this is what I'd be doing at 24 years-old. I'm a mom to a toddler, he'll be 2 next month, and my husband and I are discussing baby number 2. At this point I'm not in the mood to go into everything that's going on, I can only find the brain power to discuss how things are different than I thought they would be. Things are different. People are different. I'm different. I'm enjoying my life, I know it's what I want. There are so many difficult things to get through, though. Marriage? Motherhood? Stay at home? Some people don't even know how to talk to me about those things. It seems to me that they are looking at me as if I couldn't possibly know what I'm doing! I might not, but I'm happy! There are obviously things that don't make this an easy road, but that's life. I'm excited for what I think this blog is going to do for me and the girls that read it. Maybe even guys will read it and get some insight into what their sisters, girlfriends or wives are thinking about or going through!

Peace.
